2025 Stony Plain Outdoor Pool Rentals

To be fair to everyone, users may only book the pool for a single time slot once per operating season (June – September).

BOOKING PROCESS

We are excited to be able to offer an online booking process for 2025 Private Pool Rentals. All Requests must be completed online through the TLC, Stony Plain Outdoor Pool page HERE.  

You must have a TLC online account to register. Please contact the front desk at 780-960-5080, Press ‘0’ for help with your account access prior to rentals opening. 

As pool rentals have historically been a popular offering to our guests, users will only be permitted to book the pool for a single time slot, once per operating season (June-September)* 

*If you book more than one, your additional bookings will be cancelled upon review. 

Rentals will not be processed in person or over the phone for the first two days to deter double bookings. However, we will be happy to assist you in person or over the phone in setting up your online account access in advance of bookings opening.

 
Online Spring Rentals* will be available Monday, May 12th at 9:00 AM. Spring offerings will be inclusive of the dates May 31-July 6 (Saturdays and Sundays only). 
*In-person/over the phone will be available on Wednesday, May 14th. 

Online Summer Rentals* requests will be available Monday, June 9th at 9:00 AM and will be inclusive of the dates July 12-August 31 (Saturdays and Sundays only).  
*In-person/over the phone will be available on Wednesday, June 11th. 

Private rentals are only available on Saturdays and Sundays, in the following time slots: 
  • 10:00 AM-11:30 AM 
  • 11:30 AM-1:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM-2:30 PM  

Please note that some dates may not be available based on scheduled events

  • August 9- Alberta Triathlon Event 
2025 Pricing
  • Private Rental Rate: $187.50/booking for 1.5 hours  (max. 40 swimmers)
  • Extra Lifeguard Fee:  $37.50/booking (per additional 40 swimmers)
  • BBQ Rental: $25.00/booking

General Information:
  • Private bookings are for the main pool only. Provided there are no mechanical issues, the wading pool will also be accessible for your pool rental, however; it is not exclusive to your booking and is available for public use as well.
  • All individuals under the age of 7 must be supervised by an adult 14 years or older, since a Lifeguard does not supervise the wading pool. If the wading pool is not working, you will not receive credit, as your private booking agreement exclusively covers the main pool.  
  • You are welcome to use the grass area free of charge during or after your booking. You may share this area with other booking groups and/or public swimmers.  
Rental Guidelines will be sent upon confirmation of the booking.
 
Weather
  • We must clear the pool in extreme weather (lightning, air quality, thunderstorms). According to legislation, we must wait 30 minutes before re-entering the pool after the last sound of thunder or the sight of lightning.    
  • Rentals will commence in all weather conditions except for thunder/lightning and poor air quality. Air quality is determined based on the Purple Air website, which can be referenced at PurpleAir. Rentals will not commence if the air quality is at 7 or above.
  • Cancellations due to weather or air quality may be subject to a credit if an hour or more remains of the booked time. If there is poor air quality, pool staff will contact the booking holder an hour before the booking time to discuss available options.*

Air Quality
  • We use a real-time air quality map to determine the air quality at the pool. It can be accessed at this website: Real-Time Air Quality Map | PurpleAir.
  • If the air quality is at a 7 (high risk) or higher, the pool will be closed until the air quality level has improved.
  • The decision to reopen the pool will be based on a consistent air quality below 7.    
Cancellations 
  • Once booked, all cancellation requests must be made in writing to spop@trileisure.com no less than 14 days before your booked time. Please include the date/time of your booking in your email. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this deadline*.
  • If you need to cancel within 14 days of your booked time, please email spop@trileisure.com (your request must be received in writing) AND call 780-963-2600 to reach the SPOP desk. Be sure to leave a detailed message if the line is busy.   
  • Medical notes are required if the renter must cancel due to medical circumstances.
