There will be a significant change to the morning Aquafit start times
For this upcoming skating season, we have implemented a new rule at the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre requiring everyone to wear a helmet when skating on our ice surfaces. This rule change is about safety, and helmets are essential safety gear for ice skating, as they help protect your head from potential injuries.
Yesterday despite having extra staff on-site dedicated to registration and an increased online capacity, we received an unprecedented volume of requests (a 300% increase in web traffic on registration day.) Our team is still working on getting through all the emails, voicemails and messages. We thank you for your patience.
The TransAlta Tri Leisure’s Swim Lessons will have a whole new look! The TLC will be transitioning from Red Cross "Swim Kids" to the Lifesaving Society’s "Swim for Life" learn to swim and lifesaving programs.
We’re happy to announce that repairs on our Leisure Pool will begin in early December and have been scheduled to have minimal impact on the operations of the rest of the Aquatic Centre. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during the closure. We look forward to having you back in the Leisure pool for the New Year.
The TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre (TLC) and TransAlta Corporation (TransAlta) announced their renewed commitment to the community and will extend their title sponsorship of the facility for the next five years.
